Tomorrow, I will be going to Antipolo Justice Hall. It’s the hearing of my aunt’s murder case. My aunt, Marica Mondejar, was killed two years ago. You can read more about it or google her name.
I am writing this note out of my frustration of the Philippines’ justice system. It bothers me that the case has been open for so long while other cases were concluded faster. Even the Katrina Halili and Hayden Kho scandal went to a higher court.
My cousin is a witness and got to identify the suspects. We are sure that the suspects are guilty.
The suspects have a private lawyer and it is obvious that somebody’s been paying for the cost. But that is a different story.
Is there a way to get a verdict sooner? If you or someone who knows the answer to that question, please let me know.
